Tuition and Policies

Registration and Tuition Payments

All core acting classes are offered on a SEMESTER BASIS. Once you register for that class, you are responsible for the payments for the entire semester.
Carol Hickey Acting Studio (CHAS) accepts payments made by check or through Paypal to carolhickey@mac.com or through Venmo to Carol-Hickey. Returned checks will incur a $35 fee. All monthly payments are due on the 1st of the month. A late fee of $25 will be added to all payments made after the 10th of the month. All tuition payments are nonrefundable. Classes cannot be dropped.

Tuition payments must be paid in full and payment will imply registration. If payment for a class is received after class is full, student will be put on a waitlist for the class, offered a refund or an alternate class.
CHAS reserves the right to cancel any classes and workshops at its sole discretion. If that occurs, CHAS will refund a prorated payment accordingly.
Consistent attendance is essential for progress. Missed classes will not be refunded. If a student misses class, they will be given an opportunity to do a make-up in another class although they will not be guaranteed the opportunity to work in such class.

Photo Release

By enrolling in CHAS, the student or parent or legal guardian grants CHAS permission to take and use photographs and video footage of students and instructors during the class and performances in its promotional materials.

Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

Participation in CHAS classes and workshops is voluntary. By enrolling the student in any activity at CHAS, the student or parent or legal guardian gives consent and permission for the student to participate in all activities. The student/parent/guardian will not hold CHAS, it’s owners, instructors, contractors or staff responsible for any loss, injuries or damages incurred.
